--Hilo Jr. Tennis Club Board of Directors
Hilo Junior Tennis Club would like to take a moment to sincerely thank all our wonderful community for making our club events possible. As a non-profit organization, our entire Board and Committees are comprised of volunteers to help plan and operate our events.
We thank all our member ohanas for all the ways you show up--your participation, tournament donations, potluck contributions, volunteer sign-ups, and love of the sport keep tennis alive for the next generation of keiki to discover.
We also have tremendous extended community support: coaches, officials, adult drillers, and friendly role models who often donate their time or goods to our organization. We so appreciate you!
We are also so grateful to the generations of tennis players we delight in the pleasure and privilege of seeing grow as not only tennis players, but into amazing young adults. At whatever age you join, you are the reason we exist as an organization! We love seeing once junior members often come back to visit on their college breaks and beyond :)
And last but not least, many mahalos to all the past and current volunteer student drillers! They help make the Sunday drills possible--we realized that we didn't have as many opportunities for the Orange and Green Balls to play earlier this year, and we were able to offer much welcomed sessions in April and May.
If anyone would like to be involved in the Sunday drills, or would like to know more about any of our volunteer opportunities, please find our contact information in the link below.
We hope to post future drill dates soon, and will send out an announcement when we do!

The Hilo Junior Tennis Club teaches juniors how to play the game of tennis. We'll work with juniors from the beginner stage to advanced players.
And best of all, they get to play!
But, there is more to it than just getting good at hitting a tennis ball with a racket and scoring points. Tennis is a sport that promotes sportsmanship, etiquette, and conduct. So, our juniors learn the Rules of Tennis which, provide life lessons as well.
The Hilo Junior Tennis Club is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization. We have no paid employees. We depend on parents to provide the club with leadership and manpower.
